يناقش هذا البحث مبادئ المقاومة في رواية) ما يأتي مع الغبار يذهب مع الريح (للكاتب غربي مصطفى والذي نشر في سنة (2007). ان البحث هذا يرمي الى التركيز على ابراز القوة الحيوية الداخلية والخارجية للشخص في الاوقات العصيبة واظهار مبادئ المقاومة واهميتها للبقاء والنجاة. يحتوي هذا البحث على مقدمة لمدلولات البحث والمشاكل التي واجهته. فيما يتعلق بالمنهجية، فقد تم اتباع طريقة القراءة عن كثب في اجراء هذة الدراسة بالاضافة الى التطرق الى اعطاء مقدمة عن اصل الايزيدين وديانتهم. يقدم القسم الثاني من البحث نظرة نقدية عامة والتي تلخص نتائج عدد من الدراسات التي اجريت من قبل عدد من الباحثيين عن معاناة الايزيديات اثناء فترة اسرهن من قبل داعش. أما القسم الرئيسي فيقدم الاشكال المختلفة من العنف التي مرست ضد الايزيديات وتأثيرها على قوتهن وارادهن في المقاومة من اجل النجاة والبقاء. بالاضافة الى كل هذا، فان خاتمة البحث تلخص ما توصلت اليه هذا البحث.
