development of Kurdish language dictionary

This study is dedicated to investigate the phenomenon of Kurdish language dictionary in the light of two main Kurdish language stages that the language has gone through in South Kurdistan before and after the spring uprising in 1991. The study includes an introduction، three sections، a conclusion، and an appendix as well as a summary in English and Arabic language as follows: Section one: tackles the different usages of vocabulary before and after the uprising and demonstrates the main reasons of the different usages of these vocabularies in the Kurdish society. It also tackles their influence on the society and on the preparation of the language dictionary generally and specially the Kurdish language dictionary after the uprising. Section two: Vocabulary innovation; includes showing the phenomenon of entering the foreign vocabulary into the language as well as the most significant methods of the language innovation generally and specially in Kurdish language. Section three: the reasons of entering vocabulary; it is dedicated to show the explanation methods of the main reasons of borrowing vocabulary and terms of a language into another. This is relatively seen as a natural and a normal phenomenon in all languages.Downloads
