Communication Skills of Basketball Coaches in 10 the West Asian Championship

Abstract

Communication is one of the most important administrative functions that must be owned by contemportant Basketball Coaches and realized by their players. Allawi refers to Communication as a process that happens between two parties: the sender (coach) and the receiver (player) in order to convey a specific message (plan). The research aims to identify the level of Communication Skills and the disclosure of significant differences in the Communication Skills with basketball Coaches in the 10 the West Asian Championship for basket from the point view of the players. Sample of the Study Moreover, the sample includes 12 coaches and 48 players. The study uses the scale of communicative skills for sports trainers represented by A and B. this scale is prepared by Mohammed H. Allawi and consists of 15 items. Statistical data are processed using the statistical package SPSS. The researcher has obtained the following conclusions; 1- All the sports teams have harmony and understanding in the Communication Skills with the Coaches . 2-the teams which awarded advanced level (Iran and Iraq) have better Skills with Communication in comparison with the other teams ( Syria and Palestine) .
