The ayyobid sultan used to attend with his procession, which consisted of his retinue and his state princes with all their ornaments according to the ceremonies of celebration held under the super vision of the masters of the royal occupations and with the attendance of the noblemen for doing the royal service and holding banquets according to the known tradition.The authority procession were classified into several types, such as military procession, the procession of receiving the sultan, farewell procession, the two aids and Fridays procession, the processions of entertainment and celebration with the retinue and citizens in the days of Nile loyalty, and the processions of the sultan in his travels.
