Moreover, the study aims to point out the similarities and differences between the languages regarding the passive voice and its structures and uses so that it could be easily analyses and used in the process of language learning.To achieve the aims of the study, the contrastive descriptive approach has been adopted to compare the different constructions and tenses of the passive voice. The verb (hat) in Kurdish and the verb (Shod) in Persian play the main role in forming the passive, especially where the agent and transitivity are involved.
